Advanced Degree Professionals
In this case, the position one is fulfilling should require an advanced degree. In other cases, it can require a baccalaureate, on top of which the individual should have no less than 5 years of working experience in the field. To be eligible, individuals have to give evidence of their academic record.
Exceptional Business, Arts or Sciences Ability
To qualify for this, one has to have expertise that is a lot above the ordinary person seen in either of these three fields. To show that one is eligible, they should have three qualifications out of seven, including being a member of a professional organization, being paid a lot more than normal because of this exceptional ability, and having 10 years of experience in the field.
National Interest Waiver
For this individual, there is the need to fill three of the criteria for the exceptional ability category, while also being able to prove that their moving to the US will benefit the country in one way or another. If one is applying for this category, there is no need for an employer to sponsor them.
Typically, all those applying with the EB-2 visa have to be approved by the Department of Labor and have been approved, which is in place to show that the EB individual will not take away local jobs.
